Fiduciary Insight. Strategic Clarity. Institutional Partnership.
Wind River Capital Strategies was founded with a singular purpose: to serve the nuanced investment needs of endowments and foundations with objectivity, sophistication, and deep domain expertise.
Our founding team brings decades of experience from leading global investment firms, including Goldman Sachs Asset Management and J.P. Morgan, where we managed billions of dollars on behalf of institutional clients. We understand firsthand the governance challenges, return expectations, and risk frameworks that define the E&F landscape.
What we saw — across cycles and across client types — was a clear and growing gap: mid-sized institutions were underserved by one-size-fits-all consultants, conflicted wealth management platforms and OCIOs. Our firm exists to fill that gap.
We built a firm that is:
Boutique by design, allowing for bespoke strategy and deep principal-level engagement
Unconflicted and independent, free from affiliated products or revenue-sharing arrangements
Steeped in fiduciary discipline, serving only the best interests of the institutions we advise
We partner with investment committees, boards, and CFOs to build resilient investment programs, optimize manager selection, and align portfolios with long-term mission outcomes. Above all, our goal is to deliver clarity, conviction, and continuity in every element of the investment process.
